    The Power of a 2-Part Stain Remover in a Single Bottle!

    Red One combines two powerful stain-removing solutions that attack food dyes and other stains, breaking them down for easy removal during extraction.

    Most synthetic food dye stains now disappear within minutes without the need for heat from an iron or steamer. Those stains that do require heat no longer need to sit for minutes at a time under a hot iron. A few seconds of steam heat is all that’s required to go from a stained mess to mission accomplished!

    The new and improved Red 1 formulation not only works better and meets VOC compliance, it also has a new and improved fragrance. Red 1 removes synthetic food dyes. Red 1 is a fast acting, best performer. Good for all wet cleanable fiber types.

    Red 1 Stain Remover is a one-part system for removing food and drink stains such as Kool-Aid®, fruit punch, juice drink, candy, cough syrup, sports drinks, soft drinks, Gatorade® and other products containing food dyes.

    Red 1 is also effective on other stains such as iodine, Betadine®, Play-Doh® and lipstick.

    We strongly suggest that you PRACTICE on some carpet scraps to develop the technique before using on a customer’s carpet.

    Directions for Removing Stains from Carpet with Red 1 Stain Remover:

    1. Shake well before using.
    2. Prespray all food-dye stains with Red 1 Stain Remover prior to your cleaning set up.
    3. Allow to dwell until stain turns yellow or disappears. This will usually occur within 4 to 8 minutes.
    4. Rinse the area.
    5. Tenacious stains may require heat to accelerate the reaction..
    6. Perform your cleaning procedures.
    7. Most, if not all, of your stains will be gone depending on dwell time and temperature.
    8. Any stains that remain may require heat activation as follows.
    9. Reapply Red 1.
    10. Cover wet terry cloth towel.
    11. Apply steam heat from an iron or steamer in 15-second increments.
    12. Reapply Red 1 and use fresh section of the towel after each heat application.
    13. When stain is gone or light yellow, extraction rinse spot.
    14. You shouldn’t need to exceed 2 treatments.
    15. For natural fibers, dilute Red 1 with equal parts water.
    16. If a heavy spill, use Stain Blotter o prevent wicking.
    17. IMPORTANT: Red 1 MUST be rinsed from carpet after treatment. Always test an inconspicuous area before using.
    18. Caution: Excessive heat can cause color loss.
    Use Concentration:Mixed, Undiluted.
