Make More Money with Carpet and Upholstery Protectors!

Want an extra $39,000 per year income?

That’s what you’d make if every day, only TWO of your customers wanted their carpets treated with protector such as Scotchgard™ or Teflon at $75 each. Not only that, but you’ll be making $300/hour!

Scotchgard Carpet and Upholstery Protector, Bane-Guard™ & Teflon® Advanced Carpet Protector:

    • Help protect against both oil and water based stains.
    • Help carpet fibers resist soiling.
    • Help spills blot up before they become stains.
    • Help stains release more easily when carpet and upholstery is cleaned.
    • Help carpet and upholstery stay clean longer.
    • Effective against fruit drinks, soft drinks and frozen fruit treats.
    • Rejuvenate the protective treatment applied at the mill.
    • Stains release more easily, spills blot up before they become stains.
    • Vacuuming is more effective to remove soil.

Carpet mills recommend reapplication of Protector to maintain their warranties. Shaw Industries’ R2X™ brand carpet warranty states, “This Limited Residential Warranty also specifically excludes: any carpet which has been treated after installation with any protective material other than DuPont’s Teflon or 3M’s Scotchgard.”

DuPont™ recommends the application of Teflon Advanced Carpet Protector after each cleaning on all carpet types, even those with built-in soil and stain protection. Reinforces stain-blocking qualities of stain-resist nylon fibers, such as Stainmaster®.

    Improve vacuuming
Vacuuming is actually more effective with Scotchgard and Teflon protectors. Dirt is more easily picked up, and fewer passes are required with the vacuum.

    Simplify spill cleanup
Carpet protectors help keep spills from becoming hard-to-remove spots or stains. It repels liquids, so spills can be blotted up quickly and easily.

Keeps carpet and furnishings looking good longer.
Scotchgard, Bane-Guard and Teflon Advanced both help carpets and furnishings resist stains from both oil and water based foods, including soft drinks, coffee, tea, red wine and grease. They also make blotting up liquid spills easier, help stains release more easily when carpet and upholstery are cleaned, revitalize mill applied stain protection and actually make vacuuming easier.

Scotchgard, Bane-Guard and Teflon protectors can be applied to virtually any type of carpeting, rug, and upholstery fabric to protect against dirt, spots and stains. Soil does not adhere readily to treated fibers and, therefore, can be easily vacuumed away. Forced-in stains can be spot-cleaned more easily by conventional cleaning techniques. Scotchgard, Bane-Guard and Teflon help keep carpeting, rugs and upholstery looking cleaner longer, even after heavy use and regular vacuuming.

    Directions:
Dilute according to label directions and spray onto freshly cleaned damp carpet or on clean dry carpet. Apply with an 8004 Tee jet nozzle with a stainless steel sprayer However, you will find the electric powered Multi-Sprayer® or the Spray 1® much easier and faster to use. Do not aerosolize.

Allow 50% overlap and brush or rake the carpet after treatment. The carpet will feel stiff for a few days after the treatment. Wipe off any spray on furniture, baseboards, etc., while wet. Allow 4 days for maximum protection. To prevent material accumulation in spray equipment, clean with fresh water after each use.

NOTE: To be applied only to thoroughly cleaned carpet! Application to soiled carpet will simply lock in soil left in carpet.
